Everything we've made, in the order we made it

I'm Stéphanie. I design the mods, we build them, and we rent — so everything we make has to work without a single hole in a wall we don't own. This is the log.

Early autumn 2025

First mount
Modelled

It started as a fix, not a product

I own the same IVAR as everyone else, and I wanted the SKÅDIS panel on the shelving instead of on a wall I'm not allowed to drill. Everything I could find meant screws in plasterboard, or a bracket that fitted one side of one unit.

So I modelled the piece I actually wanted: it grips the IVAR uprights as they are, carries a standard SKÅDIS panel, and comes off again when we move. No drilling, no tools.

One variant — Back 83

The first kit went on sale

It went up as a single variant: Back 83. That was the whole catalogue — one part, one size. It carries brass threaded inserts, IKEA-grade dowels included, and the steel pins have been in the box since the very first one.

Asked for by a buyer

A buyer asked for a size we didn't make

Someone wrote in to ask whether the kit came in a version for the small IVAR frame. It didn't — we had simply never made one. So we designed it, and it has been in the range ever since.

The rest grew the same way. 5 variants now: back panels, side panels and combinations up to 360°. Your IVAR gets a layout, not a single accessory — and you don't need a printer to get one, because the files stay on our machines and the finished parts come to you.

The shelf pins went on sale on their own

They had been in every kit from the start. Enough people asked for spares — or had lost the ones that came with their IVAR — that we listed them separately.

Test-fitted on a real IVAR upright before it is packed

How each one is made

Fit is the one thing you cannot check from a photograph, so we check it for you — every kit goes onto a real upright before it is packed.

It carries brass threaded inserts, IKEA-grade dowels included, which gives the screws metal threads instead of plastic ones. What makes a mount load-bearing is less visible than that: the parts are printed in the orientation that puts the load across the layers rather than pulling them apart.

Everyone owns IKEA — your IVAR doesn't have to look like everyone's.

We rent too — no holes, small spaces, reversible. That constraint is the brief for everything we design, and it is why nothing we make asks you to modify the furniture you will hand back one day.
